Winter Brunch Catch-Ups at World Square
As the cold makes our eyes water, and the desire to curl up in bed and watch Netflix all day grows, the best thing you can do for some extra mojo is catch up with friends and family.
As they say, brunch is always a good idea! And, right here at World Square, we have the best brunch spots to look out for.
Here are some of our faves to book in with your friends and family:
Head on over to The Gardens for their all-day breakfast, smoothies and shakes. We always go for ‘The Sandwich We All Love’, and you’ll never go wrong with the Bacon Egg Breaky Wrap. If you’re feeling more adventurous, you can also try to create your own omelette, salads, and even super smoothies!
If you’re up for something a little different, try the theatrical experience at Karen’s Diner. In this 1950’s style diner, you can get a taste of rude service, singing waiters and some of the best burgers. We personally love the ‘I Want To See The Manager Karen’, ‘Karen’s Got Real Beef’, and ‘Karen’s American Cousin’ burgers. Pair this with their fun cocktails like The Sour Karen and Karen After Dark. Then cap off the meal with Karen’s Seasonal Waffle Bowl or Karen’s Marvellous Churro Surprise.
Bookings are essential at Karen’s Diner. You can book on their website for an absurdly fun brunch experience.
The Naked Duck
When you’re looking for fresh and high-quality food at casual dining prices, try The Naked Duck. This Australian and French eatery with an Asian twist offers unique fusion cuisine that’s definitely a must-try! Choose from their variety of healthy brekkie options including the Avocado Quinoa Salsa, Mushroom Pistachio on Toast, or House-made Bircher Muesli.
Guzman Y Gomez
In the mood for some Mexican food? Try Guzman y Gomez for a healthy Mexican fast food experience. They’re reinventing fast food for the better, and changing the way people eat, one burrito at a time. Choose from their clean menu that includes Brekkie Tacos and Quesadillas, Churro Toast, and Guacamole or Avocado on Toast.
Umaya is brand new to World Square and they offer high quality and authentic Japanese cuisine and sushi, which is delicious at any time of the day!
The heartwarming Japanese cuisine can be shared and enjoyed with your family and friends in a cosy setting throughout the winter. Not to mention the name of UMAYA comes from the Japanese word ‘Umai’ (うまい), which means yummy!
