At World Square, the wellbeing of our visitors, retailers and their workers is our highest priority. World Square Retail Management continues to monitor the COVID-19 (coronavirus) situation carefully. We are following the advice of the Australian Government, the Chief Medical Officer and the World Health Organisation and other Government bodies.
World Square is following the Government advice on retail closures, with our retail precinct currently still open to ensure you continue to have access to essential products and services as we navigate COVID-19. World Square retailers have implemented social distancing protocols within their stores. Coles, Priceline Pharmacy and Miracle Asian Supermarket are open for your essential needs, click here for opening hours. For all other retailer trading hours, please contact our retailers directly.
Public parking is available for World Square visitors via Pitt St and Goulburn St entries. For more information, click here.
World Square Management continues to maintain our increased hygienic standards to ensure our venue is a safe place for our community to visit, including:
- The provision of hand sanitiser in common areas
- High frequency cleaning of touch-points in common areas and deep cleaning throughout the venue
- Social distancing measures which we ask all visitors to adhere to
- Should a person who has attended the building report they’ve had contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19, a more rigorous clean and sanitisation, as recommended for reportable infectious diseases.
These measures will be updated based on advice from the Department of Health and World Health Organisation.
World Square encourages anyone who shows any symptoms of the virus as advised by NSW Health (which includes fever with a cough, sore throat or shortness of breath) to seek medical advice via their GP or call the National Coronavirus Health Information Line on 1800 020 080 and to please notify World Square Management via 02 8275 6777 or email@example.com.
