The Dining Experiences You’ve Been Missing!

As restrictions lift, we’re happy to announce that World Square is brimming with original eateries and dining outlets we know you’ll love.

If you’re anything like us, the recent lockdown will have made you realise just how much you appreciate dining out with friends and family. As restrictions lift, we’re happy to announce that World Square is brimming with original eateries and dining outlets we know you’ll love.

Karen’s Diner Okay, this may sound like a bit of a weird one but hear us out! In a 1950’s-style diner, Karen’s of Sydney unite to let their hair down and run amok. Along with succulent burgers, heaps of veggie options, an array of tasty drinks, their signature is...rude service. Yeah right? Well feel free to speak to the manager because she is the Karen of all Karens! Karen’s Diner is a fun-filled dining experience full of laughs, rude humour and even singing. If you have a soft spot for the so-called “Karen” (outspoken, critical, and oh-so righteous), you’ll adore this hilarious concept.

Papparich

If you’re hoping to try out some unique flavours, Malaysian restaurant Papparich is the place to be. The menu offers popular dishes including delicious Char Koay Teow and fiery Nasi Lemak, and over 50 mouth-watering drinks. Whether you’re new to Malaysian cuisine or fancy yourself a bit of a connoisseur, rest assured Papparich delivers authentic, Malaysian-inspired food with a hint of spice in some dishes if you’re up for it!

Din Tai Fung

Who doesn’t love a delicious dumpling? If you’re a fan of these bitesize treasures, head straight to Din Tai Fung. What was once a small restaurant in Taipei has become a worldwide phenomenon where you can enjoy what famous chef Ken Hom describes as the “world’s tastiest dumpling” – bursting with melt-in-the-mouth deliciousness! Their top recommendation are their famous Xiao Long Bao Pork Dumplings or otherwise known as soup dumplings. Pockets of soup filled dumplings that burst in your mouth. Just a heads up if you’re dining with friends, you might need to order your own serving because these are so good you won’t want to share!

Gami Chicken

If fried chicken and a refreshing pint of beer sound like your idea of heaven, look no further than Gami Chicken - your CBD outpost for authentic Korean flavours. As well as serving undeniably delicious food, Gami is committed to maintaining excellent ethical standards. The restaurant makes a point of using local ingredients and cage-free chickens – a win-win if you’re conscious of where your food comes from! So bib up, friend up, get a 4-litre keg and tackle it like a CHICKENEATINGCHAMPION.

The Bavarian

Are you an unabashed Germanophile or simply can’t live without beer? Then head to the Bavarian, grab yourself a stein of beer and say ‘prost’ to a classic German feast! Serving hearty gourmet sausages, traditional pork belly, and all the schnitzels you could ask for, this is the perfect dining spot to enjoy a relaxed feast with your best mates. If that weren’t enough, the Bavarian Fest has started at World Square and for only $79pp, you and your friends can enjoy their share-style menu equipped with a line-up of your favourite German food and drinks!
